Derek's Graduation!!!

He also decided on a completely new career path and we couldn't be happier to stay here for two more years while he gets his masters in Public Administration. We had a great few days off to celebrate graduation with TJ and Kevin. Derek's friend has given us his Xbox to take care of while he's working in Alaska for the summer. This includes Rock Band which we made sure we tried out with the parents :D
Mia Helen Poulton

April arrived with a beautiful new neice. Jen and Nigel had their third girl and she is beautiful.
The family is growing fast and the girls are developing into hilarious but lovely little characters.
Portland!!!
We had been really looking forward to visiting Portland 1. To visit Ken and Krista 2. To see OHSU and 3. To see the great city of Portland.
We loved it! A trip to the Northwest just wouldn't be complete without rain and a hike up a water fall.
This is Multnomah falls!

We took a couple of trips Winter semester which felt like well deserved breaks. The first was a fun trip to Vegas with the Moxie crew and friends. We mainly spent time in the amazing house we were staying in. Pool table, outdoor pool and hot tub, movie theater room etc etc..On the way back we stopped to take some pictures of the cool mountains in southern Utah.
I have a place where dreams are born!

There are really no words to describe the amazing experience I had as part of the cast of Peter Pan. The pictures tell it the best. But i will never forget the feelings we all felt each night as we went back to being children. Each night we heard the gasps and the squeals from young and old as Peter flew across the sky. So many great people and great memories. Glad we have the pictures to look back on :)
Now I will attempt to make up for the last 8 months of unsuccessful blog posts. lots has happened so I will post them in order starting with our first Christmas together! Also the first christmas I have been away from home. This was sad but I had far too many things to keep me happy here including going back to Oregon for two weeks!
For a start, we didn't drive, we flew and oh the joy of an hour travel rather than a day.. much preferred.

But as it happens, planes are the best place to spread germs and derek and I spent the first week of our Christmas holiday asleep. We had both caught a nasty flu that made us extremely dizzy and confused.. or was that the Nyquil. Anyway once that was over we had a wonderful Christmas, complete with calling the family in England on Christmas day.
Derek received an interview for OHSU for the dental program and I got my ears pierced! I think the girl who pierced them was younger than me..
